Going to the Front
The first section of the 24th Reinforcements included Private Alexander Mee (Kuri Bush). While he was on final leave his Brighton and Kuri Bush friends met to bid him au revoir. During the evening Mr Leitch presented the guest with a wristlet watch, military brushes, and a fountain pen. While on leave Private Mee joined the ranks of the bendicts, and on their return to Brighton, after a brief honeymoon, he and his wife were tendered a social evening and presented with an inscribed silver teapot from the Presbyterian Choir, of which they are both old members.
